Doctor, Professor. Graduated from the School of Pharmacy, Peking University in 2002 and 2007, with Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees respectively; I graduated from the School of Biology and Pharmacy at Jena University in Germany in 2011 with a PhD in Pharmacy. Postdoctoral researcher at the School of Chemical Engineering, University of California, Santa Barbara, USA from 2011 to 2014. (USA) to engage in the research and industrialization of drug formulations and medical biomaterials. Joined Xiamen University in 2015, dedicated to the research and industrialization of marine biomedical materials, nanocarrier drug delivery systems, and transdermal drug delivery systems. More than 40 SCI papers have been published in mainstream international journals; Applied for over 20 domestic and international patents. The bee sponge bone needle related products independently developed by the research group have entered the commercialization stage. As a new type of transdermal delivery platform technology, bee sponge bone needle and its associated technology have broad application and market prospects in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, biologics, vaccines and other fields.

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology from Xiamen University in 1995. In 2003, I obtained a Ph.D. degree from the School of Life Sciences at Peking University. From 2004 to 2007, I obtained my Ph.D. in Biology from Northwestern University in the United States. Since 2007, I have been an Associate Professor/Master's Supervisor and Professor at the School of Oceanography and Earth Sciences at Xiamen University. Study the genes, gene clusters, metabolic pathways, and protein functions of organisms; Constructing efficient E. coli and yeast strains for expressing marine bioactive proteins; Invented DGS (Dual Tag Genomic Scanning) technology for detecting small genomic variations in the human genome; The transcriptome technology was used to systematically characterize the overall expression profile of CD34+hematopoietic stem cells, the developmental process of juvenile abalone, the juvenile development process of Jinjiang oyster, and the juvenile development process of leaf sponge; Using CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing technology to modify the chassis of actinomycetes, activate and enhance the production of marine secondary metabolites.
